"Sweater weather??" Yeah right... In Houston, there is no such thing! Today's blog post will be dedicated to our favorite sweater looks. We had SO much fun creating these looks for you all and decided to categorize them. Please feel free to re-create these looks or ask us for any styling tips. We hope you all enjoy & please stay safe out there! We love y'all so much.
1) The Classic Look
Starting off with look #1, I wanted to show a classic look that basically anyone can re-create. You don't need much and this look is perfect for women of all ages!
Get a neutral sweater, mine is from Target & only $20 (SO many different colors and very soft)! Then, throw on some white jeans. I am not one to follow fashion rules, because white jeans should be worn year-round! I am a firm believer that white jeans are extremely flattering on all skin tones and give any outfit such a classy look. Finally, dress it up! Since this outfit is simple, do NOT be afraid to use loud jewelry or shoes! I dressed this outfit in sparkly earrings, snakeskin booties, and a cute hat!
2) Time For Errands
I don’t know about y’all but I am on the go all the time! Going to the grocery store to get lemons, going to Sephora, going to work, or even just going out...I am the queen of running errands!
What better and easier way to throw on a cute but light sweater! This one is super cute and fun because its a ONE SHOULDER sweater! Yeah, this probably isn’t ideal for the cold weather but here in Houston its perfect! I paired this sweater with some leggings, white sneakers, and a cute printed headband. I got this sweater in this awesome heater grey color and I love it! You can also find this sweater in a red and blue on the ”These Three Boutique“ website!
3) Girly Girl
Okay, but does this outfit give you "Emily in Paris" vibes?? or should I say "Emmi in Paris"?? lolol, sorry about that one. Anyway, this is for my girly girls.
This mini skirt honestly screams Summer & Spring to me, but this is how I "Fall-d" it up! Any sweater that has "texture" to it, is perfect for the Holiday season. I paired this pure white sweater with this mini skirt to offset the bright colors. Then, I added this Captain Hat to add more Fall elements to the outfit! My advice to you all is to utilize ALL your clothing. No sis, that skirt or top is not just for Summer or Spring! Throw on a sweater or boots to make it "Fall"! Then, I added these neutral booties that pretty much match with anything!
4) Sunday Brunch
First of all... who doesn’t love a good Sunday brunch filled with mimosas and french toast?! Any Sunday brunch that I have been to in the 22 years of my existence (lol), its always filled with color and happiness!
Yes we titled this post sweater weather but it wouldn’t be complete without a sweater dress! You heard me, a SWEATER DRESS! You get the best of both worlds! I found this adorable neon pink sweater dress from “Nanamacs” and I paired it with these jaw dropping white crocodile booties! Seriously when I was wearing this, my confidence was on level 1000, and I felt fabulous! If you don’t own a sweater dress, any colorful/ vibrant sweater with some dark denim jeans would be so cute as well!
