This salon blowout look has been a trend all over social media. So, we had to give this one a try. Amber did this look first and I was absolutely obsessed with the way it turned out. We both do the same routine and thought we would share how we achieve a salon blowout right at home. Please note that we are not hair dressers. This routine works for us, so if you all have any tips... please share with us! We hope you enjoy!
Achieve a salon blowout look with these items:
We both have noticed that this blowout gives us most volume with freshly washed hair. First step is to separate your hair into sections (based on length and thickness of your hair will determine how many sections). We both separate our hair into three sections. The bottom section of hair will not have rollers. Simply take your hot brush and run it through that section of hair. Once, you hit the ends of your hair - flip the brush outwards so it gives the hair a nice curl and volume.
Now the fun part! Get those rollers out! Take about 1.5 to 2 inches of hair and run the hot brush through it a couple times. This is just to get the hair warmed up before placing a roller in. After, the hair is warmed up - get a roller and place it at the end of your hair then, begin to roll it towards your scalp and secure it with a curl clip! That's it! Do this for the last two or how many sections of hair left. Leave these rollers in for at least 20 minutes.
Tips:
Save the bigger size hair rollers for the crown of your head
Save the smaller size hair rollers for your bangs or hair that frames your face
In our opinion, velcro hair rollers work best
Don't worry too much of the fly aways that might show when putting the rollers in your hair
When taking out the rollers, just pull down
Remember to work in sections
The rollers work best when the hair is warmed up - so try to immediately put the roller in after you ran it with the brush
Please tag us if you try this! We love y'all and hope you enjoyed this!
